Here is an easy and fun craft to do with your toddler.
Here's what you need:
White acrylic paint
black cardstock
colored cardstock
stickers
metallic markers (I used copper Sharpie)
black and green tulle
brads (to attach the paper and tulle)
paper plate (to stamp the feet)
patterned scissor
double stick tape or glue
Basically, we put the white paint in a paper plate and dipped the little guy's feet in the paint, then stamped them onto the paper. We tried a few times before we got it right. If you are doing this indoors, you will want newspaper or drop cloth to put the kid on in between refilling the paint and stamping. Make sure you have enough paint on the feet or they will not get a good print.
To give the paper a little texture, I used a pattern scissor to cut the edge of the black paper. Then I stuck the black paper with the colored paper with double stick tape.
I carefully wrote "Trick or Treat Smell My Feet" on the paper with my metallic Sharpie and used some of my Halloween and fall theme stickers to dress it up.
Then I used brads to attach the tulle and give it a more finished look.
That is such a cute and creative idea! I think I'm gonna do this as a trick or treating bag then retire it into a sign for next year.
