I also added another layer to my cake stand, which made my stand unstable. I added a step onto the bottom as well. You can see a little bit more on how I made this, here. I used my old LEGO, but you could also buy a basic Bricks a More set like this to add to your stash:
Yogurt serving tray. So easy to make!
I also made a little "runway".
The little guy liked it!
I was lucky I had these base plates from when I was a kid!
I've also been working on our train table with my little helper.
It is part Hobbit hole, part treehouse.
I built a treehouse underneath, too!
Everyone gets one brick and I keep the other of the same color to pick winners from.
Winners get Jake sets!
2 Days until our DUPLO party!

Every kid would LOVE a Lego party...is it wrong that my 31 year old husband would want one too? LOL. I may have to have a Lego party for him next year...he would get a kick out of that. We used to build crazy things out of Legos...like a cover for our GameCube. LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the lego party idea
ReplyDeleteHi could you please tell/show which pieces you used to interlock the pedestal to the circular tray? I can't seem to figure it out..my son loves the idea..thank you for posting it.
ReplyDeletecould you please show me how you connected the base to the plate? Really want to make this for my son's birthday in a few weeks. If its easier you could email me. Lolospf@hotmail.com
