Vegas Vacay and Valentine's at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas and Rose Rabbit Lie Review

So hubby and I got to take our first getaway since our son was born. We spent a few nights at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas.

The suites are awesome! I love the wallpaper in the bathroom!

We paid for the upgraded view and it was totally worth it. It looks out on Paris and the Bellagio fountains.

It is a small apartment with a balcony and a view.

We saw Beatles Love at the Mirage. It was amazing. We even won a little cash!

Here's a cool sculpture next to the hotel. The artist has one at La Jolla art museum, too. It is made of canoes!

View out at Aria hotel.

We LOVED our balcony. It was the perfect place to get away from the smoke in the casinos.

Wish we had enough time to have a little lounge area date...

Did I mention we loved the view?!

We loved the art, shopping and casino in the hotel.

But loved the view the most!

Oh, and the wins!

We checked out their restaurant/show/nightclub Rose. Rabbit. Lie. It is supposed to be like a speak easy with talent acts and spontaneously occurring performance art. We thought the bands and actors were pretty cool.

I loved their menu, with the wax seal, although I don't think they are reusable?!

We didn't have much to eat. Actually got rabbit food to eat... this cute little garden. At least we didn't eat the rabbit, which was unfortunately on the menu. I found the foie gras, rabbit and bone marrow and well, pretty much all of the menu pretty lame. Although cute, there wasn't much for us vegs to eat.

The dessert was fun. It was a cookie jar full of treats.

The treats and sweets were tasty!

We had a fun time, but the food was not good. We also ate at The Wicked Spoon, the buffet at The Cosmopolitan. Their food was amazing. They have these delicious little pots filled with "Angry Mac", gnocci, and risotto. Their salads and desserts were to die for. We ate there 2x and couldn't eat enough either time. It made me sad that I couldn't eat everything so we went on day 2 as well!!

Budget tips: Always join your hotel players club, follow the rules, and get free play, complimentary food and other rewards. Check your email for offers (even during your stay they may send you offers) and take full advantage of every perk that comes your way, even all the free drinks at the casino (although you still tip). Buy your show tickets ahead of time when you find a good deal.

The Beatles Love was amazing! I was able to find a great deal here. We had amazing seats in section 208 row S seats 17 and 18. It was unbelievable!

And if you wake up looking like this...

Be sure to have a Mimosa or a Bloody Mary in the morning!

* I was not compensated in any way for this post. That is why there is not a lot of commentary in it. If you would like to compensate me to stay at your hotel or give me a free stay and a buffet or some show tickets, be sure to contact me, and I will surely add more splashy photos, links and info to a fancy post about it!
