Memorial Day is a day we can take a moment to thank our service men and women who while defending our country, our freedom, and our world, lost their lives. It is heart-breaking, awe-inspiring, and brave beyond words that any individual puts their life on the line for our safety.
I would hug every widow, mother, father, family left behind. I know that those who lost their lives would have wanted one last hug with their loved ones, too. This is why we stay with our families, today. We express gratitude for our fallen heroes, and attempt to grasp the true value of their contribution to our lives and appreciate the beauty of what we have here on earth, because brave soldiers are looking out for us every day.
