Beautiful Peace Lilies, Easter Lilies, Madonna Lilies... whatever you want to call them are blooming in my SoCal garden right now. These are from plants we bought around Easter a few years back and now they come up every year! They always come up after Easter, now, though.
They are so fragrant and beautiful. I am going to try to score a few more next Easter, maybe after, when they are half price because they look "dead". Even a "dead" Easter Lily can be planted and will rebloom next year in most places, even in our SoCal "desert".
These are gorgeous flowers. I love all flowers.

ReplyDeleteI am a flower lover so , I have these and orange tiger lilies in my garden . I often wondered why they were called peace lilies. I was always under the impression they were for funerals RIP flowers. My first and only girl great grand childs name is Lilly : )

ReplyDeleteLILLIES ARE REALLY BEAUTIFUL BUT ALSO HARD TO GROW..QUITE A DELICATE FLOWER FOR SURE & USUALLY NOT CHEAP..SO IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO GROW THEM BE CAREFUL THEY CAN BE TRICKY! PAYS OFF TO DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THEM FIRST HONESTLY..
