It is all about the whole foods for us, lately. I am interested and excited about any whole food medley we can put together and this one is a handover in seasons from the everlasting strawberry, which we can always find organic, and fresh in Southern California, and the Starfruit which shows up in March-April, and the Blueberry, which is just showing up at farmers markets, now.
This would be a beautiful 4th of July fruit salad...
... but I'm not sure about Starfruit availability around that time of year.
Either way, this is a delightful and healthy treat to enjoy any time you can get your hand on these three ingredients.

ReplyDeleteThis is a festive and beautiful fruit salad. I have never had star fruit but it looks cute. I think my kids would at least try it because of the star shape.
