Arts and Animation - Disney on a Dime

For a short one night stay in Orlando, we got to stay at the very reasonably priced Disney Arts and Animaton Resort. We just wanted a place to swim after our flight and to take off for the Magic Kingdom in the morning and this was perfect! Pool was open until 11 and it was super cute and fun for the little ones!

If you love Cars, The Little Mermaid, or The Lion King, hotel rooms are themed with your favorite characters, as well as larger than life models of the characters adorning the hotels and grounds.

Booking it to the room!

Mickey mouse towels!

Room service!

The coolest thing was getting our wrist bands that get you into the rooms, hold your credit card info for food and shopping. We also bought our Magic Kingdom passes through the concierge so the wrist bands swiped us into the park, and loaded up 3 fast passes to start our day. You can continue doing fast passes throughout your day and shopping and eating with the wristbands, too!

The fishes loved me!

Oh Ursula, you witch!

Seahorses on my headboard. So cute.

Fun place to stay for those who want to do Disney on a budget, but still get the full experience...

Last year, we did the Nickelodeon Resort, which was great because they have water slides and cabanas at their pool, but this year, with only a 1 night stop over, this was perfect! We literally walked in with one backpack full of swimsuits, pjs, and tomorrows clothes, swam until bedtime, and left first thing in the morning to get to the park. So glad we didn't blow a wad of cash or stay in a non-Disney resort. LOVE this place!
