We live in Southern California. It is sunny ALL the time, here. Blocking the sun, and preventing skin cancer is part of our lifestyle and I'm proud of it. We are known by our friends and family as the over-zealous sunscreeners. I read up on the EWG Skin Deep website to find out which sunscreen is the least toxic and most likely to make you look as pasty as possible. I make sure to re-apply every two hours, and after we get out of the pool. I could put sunscreen on a Honey Badger if I had to. I'm used to it. My son kicks and screams every time and I still make it happen. This week, we added these Deluxe Easy Stick Window Sun Shades ® to my car windows to block those harmful UVA rays that manage to penetrate through the glass.

The Deluxe Window Sun Shade 2-Pack provides SPF-30 car window protection. Of course they also provide shade. There are two sun shades in the pack and 6 suction cups, but you really only need two. The shades can fold up easily into small circles and be stored when you are not using them. The extra suctions are great to keep in a safe place just in case you lose one along the way.

I loved how we were able to easily stick the suction cups in our car windows by wetting them a little bit and they stayed put. They were also very easy to clip onto the mesh shades.

Our car is on the smaller side, so our windows were a bit smaller than the actual shade, but they just overlap the door a little bit and it is not a problem. In fact, being the sun-protective momma that I am, extra coverage is always welcome.

Prior to using these sunshades, I just made sure my son was sun-screened if we were going on a car ride that was in a direction that would allow sun to directly shine on him. He usually wears a ball cap, too, which helped keep the sun out of his eyes. These window sunshades make keeping the sun off my precious little guy much easier, and make him much happier on our car trips around town and beyond. They worked perfectly and I have that much more confidence that we are doing the best we can to protect him from harmful UVA rays.

I highly recommend putting these Deluxe Easy Stick Window Sun Shades ® into your car if you have babies and kids in the back seat. Not only is the sun harmful, but it can be hot and annoying for them, too. They are available on Amazon and come with a 90 Day no risk guarantee, all the more reason to try them out now!

* I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
