Review - FMuscle Roller Stick By FLEXX Sports

My husband is always suffering from back pain. He travels overseas a lot for his job in uncomfortable airplanes. Then, when he is home, he does yard work, home improvements, and of course he plays with our 3 year old constantly, leaving him complaining of sore muscles and begging for a massage.

This week we got the opportunity to review the Flexx Sports Muscle Roller Stick. I'm always willing to try anything to help my poor hubby out, and it is a lot of work giving a massage, so anything that will get me out of it is worth a try, too.

The Flexx Muscle Roller Stick is supposed to be great for preventing muscle injuries, getting rid of muscle pain and soreness, reducing lactic acid effects in muscles, and relaxing the muscles after a workout among other benefits touted by the company. It is only 9 oz in weight ,1.5 inches diameter and 18.3 inches length. There are 9 rollers on a steel rod core and it pretty much works like a rolling pin on someones back. You can also use it on the neck, back, hamstrings, gluts, shoulders, fingers, calves, and quads.

Hubby is game for trying new things so he laid down on the floor and let me start rolling. He was moaning and groaning (in a good way) right away and I knew we had a winner. He loved it so much he didn't want me to stop! To try to demonstrate with a photo, I gave our toddler a chance to try it on him, so pardon the blurry photo, but you get the idea.

My husband loves the Flexx Sports Muscle Roller Stick. I found it really easy to use. The handles have ergonomic grips and it was quite easy for me to put a little pressure on and roll it up and down his back. The price is very reasonable for the amount of relief it provided. It would make a fantastic gift, and with its long thin shape it could be stuck right into someones Christmas stocking.

* I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  1. Sounds great.....I have the large foam roller but my DH doesn't take the time to use it. He works out of his vehicle and sometimes that means up to 10-12 hours a day in an uncomfortable seat. This looks perfect.....will have to keep checking back to see if it ever comes back in stock :(.
