1000 Thread Count Soft Cotton Sheets - Yorkshire Mayfair Hotel Collection

You know that feeling, when you are staying in a really nice hotel and you slip into a well made bed with soft, thick, white bed linens? Well the cat and I just got to have that luxurious moment at home. This weekend, we reviewed the Yorkshire Mayfair Fine Bed Linen Hotel Collection and they are exactly the kind of sheets that one would find in a good hotel.

The Yorkshire Mayfair linens are beautiful, heavy, 1000 thread count, 100% cotton sheets. They felt nice right out of the packaging but I washed the sheets before putting them on the bed and they got even softer. I'm sure they will continue to soften over time.

Of course the natural fiber came out of the dryer wrinkled and I steamed the top sheet before doing this gorgeous photo shoot with my cat, but that is to be expected with the heavy cotton. And a cat is to be expected on new white sheets. 

The sheets look so crisp and clean on my bed. They fit the bed perfectly. The fitted sheet has a thick elastic band and it has a snug fit on the mattress. 

The sheets are nice and thick, too. I think they are going to be perfect for this summer because they are exactly the right thickness to not need a hot blanket and will feel great with the windows open and fan on.
