We have been getting some really delicious little seedless watermelons from Farm Fresh to You as well as ripe strawberries. I made a watermelon strawberry smoothie without any added ingredients and it is to die for! This hydrated me after an impromtu date night last Saturday night and cooled me off on a really hot day in SoCal...
Watermelon Smoothie or Slushie Recipe
Ingredients:
2 parts cold seedless watermelon
1 part frozen strawberries
Pulverize seedless watermelon in a blender. We use our Vitamix but you can use any blender. You may need to shake the blender to get all the watermelon going but it will be the liquid to blend your strawberries in.
Then add frozen strawberries. Add water if you need to. I didn't need to.
If you want to make this into a slushie, add a scoop of ice (1-2 cups) ice and blend!
* All fruit is from Farm Fresh to You. We have worked with them recently on a post and we are customers! We can also offer a promo code and we will get a commission if you order a box.
