We were lucky enough to score some frozen raspberries a few weeks ago for half price. I crammed half a dozen packs into my freezer because Valentine's Day is coming and I wanted to whip up some cute and healthy food.
This raspberry "nice cream" made with bananas instead of ice cream is SO easy to make, it is so pretty, and the kids are nuts over it. If you have never made Nice Cream, I'll let you know my trick.
Now I'm usually a Vitamix girl, but the secret to my nice scream is to do it in my food processor. I know people make nice cream in the blender, scraping down the sides, but this is so much easier to do in a food processor like a Cuisinart.
Mom and 2 little kids shared this super healthy vegan Raspberry Nice Cream
What You Need:
3 frozen chopped bananas
1/2 cup raspberries
1-2 TBSP water
What You Do:
Chop bananas and freeze.
Chop frozen banana chunks in blender or food processor adding a little bit of water at a time until smooth.
Add raspberries and pulse until the desired look is acheived.
