Wonder Forge Despicable Me 3 Linked Up Review

This week we got to review one of the newest Wonder Forge Games - Despicable Me 3 Linked Up. We are big fans of the Wonder Forge company. Their philosophy is aligned with our own. Just like us, they strive to keep their footprint on this planet as small as possible, using 90% post consumer recycled waste, only using resources from sustainable forests and keeping the plastic to an absolute minimum. 

We've noticed with Despicable Me 3 Linked Up, as with all the games we have checked out from Wonder Forge, they create these games to last a very long time. Games that are well made and excellent quality and packaged in a very nice sturdy box have a better chance of surviving more than one generation, looking nice on the playroom shelf, and being played with more often in our family and I would assume this is true for most of my readers too.

The cool thing about Despicable Me 3 Linked Up is its originality and uniqueness. Players take turn "linking" characters on the board to collect cards and the one who gets a matching set wins. The game involves strategy and forward thinking because you are not only collecting your own pieces but trying to prevent the other players from getting theirs first. The game goes together like a puzzle to change the layout for each game.

As usual we were quite impressed with the quality of this game as well as its original concept. We are fans of the Despicable Me movies and so that adds an extra level of familiarity and enjoyment to the activity as well. Packaged in a glossy, reusable "giftable" box, we hightly recommend this game for a gift or a fun little surprise to keep the kiddos entertained and engaged once and a while.
