BRIO My Home Town Camping Set Review

We received this adorable BRIO My Home Town Camping Set this week in order to do a review and set up a giveaway before the holidays. It is a cute, chunky toy, made out of durable plastic and sustainable wood. This set is made for little hands and safe for ages 18 months and up.

What we liked about the BRIO company

We are big fans of BRIO toys and have reviewed them before here. They are a Swedish company that was started in 1884 and has thrived on its quality, thoughtfully designed, and engaging toys. They are committed to using certified responsibly sourced and sustainable wood and the toys are durable and, safe, and colorful.

The BRIO My Town Camping Set

The set is recommended for ages 18 months and up. It is in a nice sized box; perfect for a gift. There is a car and trailer, two people, and a cute little dog. The trailer has little indentations where the people sleep and there is room for the dog in all the vehicles and she can go in the canoe too!

The people, the dog, and the hood on the car are made out of wood. Most of the car and trailer are made out of smooth, impact resistant plastic and it does not contain PVC or phthalates - which is good. The vehicles have nice rubbery little tires so they won't scratch surfaces, another thing we love about this toy!

Ky and I had a great time playing with the camping set. She is 3.5 years old. I wanted to give it to her younger friend, because this is such an adorable set to give an 18 month old and there really isn't much out there for them like this! For now, my daughter says she loves it and wants to play with it for a bit. This set could easily last through to the next generation if you want to keep it around too.
