Make Money with your Photos

If you love to take pictures and have some really great shots, it may be possible to make money with those images.

Also, if you enjoy creating artwork or illustration, you may be able to sell those, too!

Bigstockphoto.com is a site I have been using for years to build a portfolio of stock photography and illustrations. You receive a commission based on the sale of your images.



Depending on the size and licensing of your sold images, you can make anywhere from $0.50 to $25.00 per image sold and images can be sold an unlimited number of times.

Images must be marketable and good quality to be approved, so only add your best work.

Now it is RARE to get those high values for your images. I usually hover around $1.00 per sale. I only have 19 images on their site, but tend to make about $15/year. I keep thinking that one of these days I'm going to  focus more on building my portfolio, but for now, it is a small passive income for me.
