I whipped up very green mother and son smoothies, today in my Vitamix!
This smoothie tastes like a milkshake and looks like a smoothie Mountain Dew!
My 13 month old and I were on the go for most of the day, so I made these alongside a power breakfast of cheese omelettes and toast. Then I made them again for lunch on the go.
Serves 1 Mom or Dad and 1 baby.
Blend the following ingredients until liquefied.
All organic if possible
1 apple skinned and cored
1 handful of kale
1 banana
1 mango
1+ cups water
3-6 ice cubes
1/4 cup vanilla coconut yogurt or yogurt of choice
Sub fruits for how sweet or sour you would like it.
Blend all ingredients in a Vitamix, or comparable blender, starting the speed at 1 and slowly increasing to level 10 until everything is completely blended.
