We are on a money saving kick, starting now. We just got back from a trip to Disney World and Legoland and the credit card bills shook me up a little. We used a lot of tricks to save money on this trip, but the basics, like hotel, airfare, theme park tickets, rental car and food really did some damage to our budget this month.
Soooo, starting today, I'm going to think of 1 thing to save money each day. Let's see how much I can save!
Today, we vowed to leave our heat off.
We are in the Southwest, where it doesn't hit freezing temps, often, but I realized that we would turn on our heat at night, so we could walk around in tee-shirts! Just keeping some sweatshirts downstairs, for the family, and dressing a little warmer at night should allow us to keep the heat off. This is good for the environment, too!
The last 2 months, we spend $240 on Gas and Electric, each month.
