To Do: Gatorland with a 1 Year Old and Discount

Yesterday, we visited Gatorland in Orlando. Is Gatorland good for a 1 year old? Yes! We loved looking at the Alligators of all sizes. Our little guy can say "alligator" more like "algator" and "bird" so he enjoyed saying his words for every creature he came across. We also fed a cow, who was very sweetly waiting for someone to put corn in his bowl. We met an emu, a goat and marveled at white alligators and an owl.

To the delight of toddlers and small children, there is a choo choo train that goes around this park. There is also a small play area for small children with both a jungle gym and water play area.

For the bigger kids and adults, they offer an awesome zip-line course. We must try this once our 1 year old is old enough.

I'm sure many people forego this attraction in favor of the Disney attractions with the little ones, but this place is the quintessential Florida attraction. Florida is all about the 'gators and this is the safest place to meet them. It can be done in less than 2 hours with a toddler and if you go at the end of the day, you can get in for half price. THAT was a great deal!
