VEGAN Food at Knott's Berry Farm

This was the vegan fried chicken a few years ago when we originally posted this.

*Since this post gets a lot of traffic, I'm going to try my best to keep it updated for everyone that wants to eat vegan food and gluten-free at Knott's Berry Farm.*

First off, I'm happy they have stuck to their pioneer position and continued to be the first and best theme park at offering vegan junk food. You can have nuggets, fries, pizza, and allegedly mac n cheese and hot dogs here, although I've never tried these elusive menu items. I love this about Knott's. Second, I'm going to thank them for changing their vegan/gf pizza to two separate pizzas, although I'm sure you can do vegan/gf as well because it is made to order. 

Unfortunately, Knott's still makes it a little tricky to find their vegan-friendly eats. They list all these great menu items on their site, but they don't list locations. I'm going to try to help with that here, but they are also not reliable when it comes to specific locations, so you can ask, but there is no guarantee it is available which is what I found.

Also, like most theme parks, you will have to deal with all the non-vegan food and entertainment. There is a horse-drawn carriage that drags junk-food heavy guests around a track all day long. There are a ton of rides and attractions at this place. I'd prefer if they could sanctuary these horses on-site and retire that outdated, antique, horse-slave carriage for good.

So on our family's first day of this year, we are going to try to sort out the vegan food at Knott's Berry Farm. We'll keep adding to the list as we visit throughout the year.

Vegan Pizza from Sutter's Pizza

Vegan and Gluten Free Pizza at Knotts Berry Farm at Multiple Locations

We just bought our passes in 2018 and this post had been up for a while trashing their old vegan/gf pizza. We just tried their vegan pizza and it was fantastic. Even my husband who doesn't particularly like tomatoes, and their were little bits on it, liked it. My daughter liked it too but my son passed.

I understand you can get it at multiple locations but we got it at the little Sutter's Pizza stand to the right of the entrance right when you walk in. You still have to ask for it at the locations. It took 20 min but worth it. Should have bought 2!

Vegan Fried Chicken at Knott's Berry Farm

You can also find this at multiple locations. It is deep fried Gardein-style nuggets and they are perfect for that theme park food fix. I don't see fries on their vegan list on their website but that doesn't surprise me because it is not a thorough restaurant by restaurant listing.

This is their Boca Burger from Grizzly Creek Lodge. My husband stacked it for me with way too many onions but he knows I like all the veggies on my burgers and they had a toppings bar. More fries!
