We finally finished putting in the last pallet of rock! Three pallets of California Gold rock were emptied in the front yard and once again, done by ourselves! This project is taking forever, but I'm feeling optimistic now that we are done with another step.
We are going to need another pallet of rock and we are ready to do a little retaining wall on the back right. Then we are going to put in a little patio of paver blocks.
Lots of color going on right now on the plants... and the kid! He's rockin' his new Pumas.
The Sticks on Fire are really taking off right now and the orange is so rich and bright.
Hey, it may not look like much, but this is the life of a DIYer.
I'd like to say my slow goodbye to my neighbors house. We will be getting an olive tree and some other things soon and your house will appear to disappear...
Oh I love it!! It's beautiful!!!. I wish I had a house. I am so tired of throwing my money away renting.
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful, I love that you get instant gratification with the stone and a few plants.

VERY NICE & NO LAWN TO MOW. JUST CLIP A FEW THINGS NOW & THEN & U ARE TAKEN CARE OF
ReplyDeleteI really like how this turned out. It would be helpful too in not having to weed and mow.
ReplyDeleteYour landscaping to looking really good. I like the rock base under all of the plants. We ripped out the terrible shrubs that were on the left front of our house earlier in the year and put in perennial flowers and bark cover. It looks so much better and our neighbors have told us they like it too. I wish you well on all of your projects, anything done can make your house worth more too.
