Recipe - Vegan Spaghetti Sprinkle - Grandma's Vegan Parmesan




If you are looking for something vegan or something healthy to replace Parmesan on your pasta, look no further. This is my mom's recipe for a healthy, delicious vegan topping that can go on anything you like.



The best part is that it is SO easy to make and it stores well in the fridge for weeks too.

We use this nutritional yeast:

Sari Foods Nutritional Yeast which actually has a 5 star rating on Amazon.


A lot of people (including my husband) complain about the flavors of different brands of nutritional yeast and this is one of the ones that everyone REALLY seems to like. I think it's delicious. If you think you don't like nutritional yeast and you haven't tried this brand, I would try this recipe with the Sari brand nooch because it might change your mind.

Vegan Parmesan - Grandma's Spaghetti Sprinkle

prep time: 1 minscook time: 1 minstotal time: 2 mins
This topping is easy, healthy, tasty, and flexible

ingredients:

1 cup cashews (or you could use walnuts, almonds, and can mix with some pine nuts or sunflower seeds...)
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1 tsp salt

instructions:

Finely chop your  in your food processor - we use the Cuisinart Mini Prep. Mix the nutritional yeast and salt and pulse until fine. Enjoy on pasta, salad, Buddha bowls etc.

Sprinkle this on your spaghetti, pasta, or whatever you like!

Sprinkle this on your spaghetti, your linguine, your tagliatelle, your macaroni, whatever you like! It is so tasty, I could eat it with a spoon.
