This week we are featuring a baby nursery theme with one of my favorite Disney characters - Dumbo! I came across this charmingly adorable crib set on Target.com and had to have some fun with baby room decorating ideas to go along with the cute textiles.
The Dumbo 3pc Crib Bedding Set is priced very reasonably on Target.com. It comes with a comforter, a fitted crib sheet, and a dust ruffel.
The fitted sheet has a lovely little pennant garland design.
You can also purchase another fitted sheet with a Dumbo pattern, separately.
Matching curtains are also available in the same pattern as the optional crib sheet.

If you have some square footage to cover in the room, and want something the little one can play with as they get a little older, why not add a circus tent for some interest, color, and play value!
I think this wonderful Childrens Indoor Play Tent from Amazon.com would be just perfect!
These The Martha Stewart Crafts Modern Festive Pennant Garlands look like they would add interest and color to some wall space and go quite nicely with the crib set.
I think this set might be a nice match, too!

If you are looking for something VERY interesting and special, the Original Happy As Larry Multicolor Felt Ball Rug might be the way to go. It also comes in several sizes. There may be a little bit of sticker shock when you take a look, but if you are looking for something truly unique, I would definitely check it out.
The Dumbo crib set has a little bit of Chevron zig zag print to it, so I found this very inexpensive rug at Target.com, that would probably go quite nicely, as well.

If you are a parent that is counting the days until your little one makes their first trip to Disneyland, or watches a Disney movie with you, a Dumbo theme decor could be just perfect. It is bright, cheerful, and features what I think is one of the sweetest Disney characters of all time. I just could not wait to share this nursery idea!

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! How cute. I love the idea of doing a Dumbo themed room. Mickey or Minni Mouse might be cute too. :) Disney is always a positive way to decorate an infant's room, I'd think.
ReplyDeleteI use to show the Dumbo video tape to my children. You have some cute ideas to decorate a child's room in the Dumbo theme. The best thing about it is that you can go to a local store to buy these things at a reasonable price.
