Review - Educational Insights Chet the Cat Toddler Money

My almost 3 year old LOVES money, just like his momma ;) He was so happy when we received the Educational Insights Chet The Cat and Friends Toddler Money to review.

This isn't your average play money. It is over-sized, indestructible, high quality toddler money. The set comes with a 1, 5 and 10 dollar bill, and a giant penny, nickel, dime, and quarter. All the faux currency is printed on the both sides. The bills are made out of rubber. The coins are plastic.

We had some fun playing store with the money. The little guy sold me some rubber frogs and he bought a plastic T-Rex from him. The little capitalist took great pleasure in ripping me off for a rubber lizard that was hardly worth what I had made on the dinosaur.

Then we looked at all the money and read all the words and numbers on each of them. I love that the coins are large enough to actually see everything on them. I forgot how much information is on American money!

This money is fun to play with, hard to lose (because of its size), and tough to destroy. It is perfect for playing store, learning about currency, and great for giving as a gift because pretty much any kid will have a good time with it.
