Review - Racoon Rumpus Game

This week we got to test out a new game from Educational Insights Raccoon Rumpus Game. This game is for ages 3 and up but my son is just under 3 year old and he had no problem playing. In fact he beat us grown-ups a couple times!

Raccoon Rumpus is a simple game of chance for 2-4 players. Each player gets a card with a raccoon in his underpants. When it's your turn, you roll a pair of dice, one with a clothing item on each side, and one with a different color on each, to see what clothing card in what color you pick up for your nearly nude raccoon.

The first player to get 5 clothing cards wins! If a player rolls underpants, his raccoon is stripped of all his cards and ends up in his skivvies again. You can also roll both pants and shirt and get two cards.

This game is so clever and adorable. The raccoons are cute and the cards with their outfits each represent a different hobby or occupation for that extra little educational aspect. This is the perfect game for preschoolers and it is also fun for the whole family.

There is no strategy needed, you just need to make sure your littlest one is following the rules instead of cheating his way to another win!

Educational Insights Raccoon Rumpus Gameis very reasonably priced and makes a great gift. I would highly recommend it for any little kid to play with their family. 3 years old is probably a little too young to play it with friends but as he gets a little older, I could see him having a great time with his buddies playing Raccoon Rumpus, too!
