Recipe - Vegan Savory Mashed Cauliflower

I kept hearing great things about mashed cauliflower and how it tastes just like mashed potatoes and I had a whole lot of it left over from making a Cauliflower Veggie Snowman Platter, so I decided to give it a try. It was actually really easy and so delicious! I always like a lot of savory flavor in my mashed potatoes, so I really went to town with enhancing this dish with spices and Nutritional Yeast. We used the Sari Foods Nutritional Yeast (you can check out the full review we just did here.)


Makes 4 Servings

What You Need:
1 large head of cauliflower
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
3 tbsp nutritional yeast
2 tbsp vegan butter

Boil large pot of water.
Cut up the cauliflower into large florets and drop into boiling water.
Bring back to boil.
Boil Cauliflower for about 10 minutes or so until soft.
Cream cauliflower in food processor.
Add in all other ingredients and blend until smooth.

Serve and Enjoy!
