Review - Sunlabz 8 Slot AA/AAA Battery Charger

When you have kids, especially little ones, you tend to go through a lot of batteries. We never really used batteries for very much before our son was born but it seemed like all of a sudden, we needed batteries in every toy, game, stuffed animal. We never had the size we needed, and they were always running out of juice. 

I consider us a pretty eco-friendly and somewhat frugal family, so I knew that we had to start doing rechargeables if we wanted to survive this battery crisis. The Sunlabz Battery Charger takes up to 8 AA or AAA NIMH/NICD rechargeable batteries at a time. It has an LCD display that shows charging progress. It also has over-heating and defective battery detection. There is a handy chart on the back of the box that shows charging time for the different battery types and I found this to be accurate with the ones I charged.

I was really happy with this charger. It recharged the batteries I had on hand that needed to be recharged without a problem. The display was clear and easy to read. It was easy to track the progress and I was able to see clearly when it was complete.

I am so happy that we got to try out the Sunlabz Charger because we will need it for all the batteries that we are going to use for all the new toys that will be under our Christmas tree. I can't wait to see how much money I save when I hardly have to recycle used batteries again.
