Review - Sunlabz Power Bank Cell Phone Charger

We are all so attached to our cell phones, but charging my phone without a power outlet nearby can be a problem. I've had to borrow my parents car a few times and realized that there was no way for me to charge my phone in it. Since I usually use my phone for navigation, my phone is never fully charged, and I was alone with my son, this was unnerving and inconvenient. I always think worst case scenario imagining myself on the side of the freeway, with a broken down car, no charge on my phone, and nobody stopping to help me.

Well, this week I got the opportunity to review the Sunlabz Power Bank phone charger and this is now my favorite little phone accessory. Basically, you can plug it into a wall outlet or connect it to the USB of your computer to get the unit charged up. 

There is an LED light display on the Power Bank to indicate when it is fully charged. Then, when you need that extra boost of power for your dead phone, you just plug it into the Power Bank and it charges it up!

Since the connection in the power band is a USB, you can pretty much use it with any phone or tablet that has a USB connection cable, which pretty much covers my family's iPhones, Galaxies, and Kindles (everything!).

You can also connect your phone to the unit while is is charging in your car or while it is charging off your laptop to save outlet space. There is the option of plugging into a standard wall outlet or removing the top and exposing the USB plug depending on where you want to get your power from. 

You can even remove the top to use it as your adapter, so you don't need to double up on these for your charging needs, and the two-prong plug folds into the unit to make it compact and streamlined.

I was able to get a full half charge on my Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport while it was turned on AND being used. I love that these chargers come in really cute colors, too!

I am very happy with the Sunlabz Power Bank. It is a great product, at a reasonably price, and it also makes a perfect gift or stocking stuffer. The only problem I have is that my husband got his hands on it and now I need another one!
