We take tons of digital photos. My husband is our official photo archiver and makes sure everything from our cameras, phones, and computers all end up in a cloud and backed up on external hard drives. I'm profoundly grateful for this because I like to be the creative one who just snaps away with reckless abandon. He also committed to making books each year with some of the best photos he finds. He just made our book on Snapfish and I'm so happy to have all our photos in a beautiful printed book that I can actually hold in my hands, instead of out there in the cloud... somewhere... wherever that is!
The Snapfish book he made is canvas bound with a little window die-cut in the cover so the first page becomes the cover art. Hubby picked this angelic picture of the little guy. He is so well-behaved... when he's sleeping. This photo erases all the mischief that was ever made throughout the day.
Snapfish is a great photo printing, editing, and sharing website which sells a variety of books and gifts that you can design and customize with your own favorite photos. Their prices are phenomenal and if you go through ShopAtHome.com you will find amazing coupon codes, sales, get a good chunk of cash back, and possibly even find a code for FREE shipping so your final cost will be extremely reasonable too! You can also check out my post on how to save the MOST money and the BEST discounts using ShopAtHome.
Snapfish offers over 100 customizable photo gifts. The software that Snapfish offers online for their books and other merchandise is super easy to use. You simply upload your photos, then choose which one you want to place on each gift or item.
Not only did we make a lovely book highlighting our obsession with our little boy (I hope he enjoyed this time, because baby number two is on the way to steal some thunder!) but we made large coffee mugs for the grandparents (because coffee is what helps grandparent keep up with toddlers and hopefully larger coffee cups will enable them to keep up with two!).
I LOVE the beautiful keepsake Christmas ornaments we made on Snapfish. Again, the little dude is the star, and one has a guest appearance by our sweet boxer-labra-noodle, Lulu. We loved the silver ornament so much that we ordered a couple more for gifts because who wouldn't want that charming little cute face on their Christmas Tree every year?! It is really nice because it is protected in a clear resin, not glass, and comes in a little velvet gift pouch.
We made some beautiful magnets on Snapfish, as well. I think a lot of us use our refrigerator as our family photo gallery, these days. Until I get some photos framed and get around to hanging them, we have these!
We also made a reusable shopping bag with our family and Mickey Mouse on it. We are going to use this for our trip to Disneyland in a few weeks! Did you know that Snapfish also has Disney theme books and gifts? I think we'll do one of those, next!
I love that there is a picture of my son carrying a tote bag, on the tote bag. Next year, I will put a picture of us carrying this tote bag on a tote bag, then take a picture for a tote bag. This could become a habit...
Well, you can see we had a lot of fun designing and really love all the goodies we made on Snapfish. There are so many more things we would like to make, like blankets, pillows, a calendar, and of course prints for that photo wall I want to work on.
If you have a ton of photo projects and gifts you would like to make with all the pictures you've taken, this year, then we have a GIVEAWAY for you!!!
