Review - Brieftons InstantVeg Sprial Slicer

We eat a lot of vegetables in this house. We eat them cut up, raw, baked, stir-fried, juiced, and this week, we got to review the Brieftons InstantVeg Spiral Slicer and have our veggies spiralized! This cutting tool has 4 different settings to cut vegetables like cucumbers, carrots, onions, apples, zucchini, etc. into long spiraled strands in the width of your choice.

The Brieftons Slicer is 100% BPA free and made out of ABS plastic. All the blades are self-contained so it is not dangerous to operate, and it is lightweight and compact. It is also diswasher safe!

To operate the slicer, you basically place a section of the vegetable you would like to spiralize into the Slicer, close the lid, choose the width you would like and turn the handle. The vegetable spins inside and spiraled veggies come out the bottom. There is a detachable cup that catches the sliced veggies. The Slicer also comes with a lid for the bottom cup so you can store your sliced veggies for later.

We found the Brieftons InstaVeg Spiral Slicer easy to use, easy to clean, and really loved the results. My favorite setting for the cucumbers I sliced was #4. It made a long curled slice of cucumber that looked beautiful on top of my salad. The other sizes were fun to use, too. It would be great if you were serving a salad to guests and sliced a few different veggies in different widths to make a really gorgeous presentation.

The Spiral Slicer can also be used to make curly fries out of potatoes or sweet potatoes, apple chips, potato nests, or any number of vegetable designs or garnishes for a professional looking food presentation, or just encouraging healthy eating by making ordinary veggies more exciting and appetizing.

I loved how the #4 sliced my cucumbers for this lovely salad.

It really added a lot of texture and interest.

Check out the Brieftons InstaVeg Spiral Slicer on their website or look for it in stores.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
