The i3GearDesign Ice Ball Tray makes 4 large ice balls that melt slower than traditional ice cubes.
They can even last for more than one drink.
- First, fill the closed mold with water. Note - tap water may create a cloudy ice ball.
- Then squeeze the top and bottom of the mold together, especially in the middle so it releases as much of the excess water as possible. It is okay if some water is collected on top of the mold. It will snap out easily, later.
- Next, place the full mold in the freezer.
- Once frozen, remove the top of the mold and place upside own, separate the edges of the bottom mold, over the top mold so they drop in safely.
Enjoy!
It's ok that some of the ice froze int the top lid, it will pop out.
It's also ok that there is excess ice. It will melt off quickly in the drink.
Ice balls look so pretty when they catch the light.
They can make any drink fancy. I can't wait to use some for a special cocktail or a party!
But for now, they keep my water cold for a really long time.
And they don't water down my iced coffee.

ReplyDeleteI have considered getting some of these. They look cool and I love that they don't melt off quickly.
ReplyDeleteI would love your ice coffee recipe :D
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea, they are great for a cup of milk if you make them chocolatey, or coffeifyoumakethem out of flavored milk, and you can usethe mf or all different ideas. I really would love to get myself some!!
ReplyDeletehow cool is that i like how they are sphere shaped
ReplyDeleteNeat! I love the uniqueness of these! Perfect for a party. Too bad they only make 4 balls per tray. You would need a ton of them to make enough for a whole family. I suppose you could start to make them in advance and dump them into a bin in the freezer until party or dinner time.
ReplyDeleteA great idea! If they last longer i am all for it. If i fix a drink i usually end up with the ice melting before i finish it.
ReplyDeleteDifferent shapes of ice add more fun to the drinks!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! Thank you for sharing...
