Our baby girl was a week old, yesterday, and one of the sweetest things we received for her is this set of 100% Organic Cotton Muslin Swaddle Blankets from Tiny Cloud. First of all, we love everything organic. We eat all organic food, we stick to organic gardening practices in our yard, so of course we were very excited to give our baby organic blankets.

Not only are these Tiny Cloud muslin blankets made in an eco-conscious way, but they are a soft, breathable cotton that will soften the more they are washed. This set includes 3 blankets in a lovely gift box, with three different designs that could work for either a boy or a girl baby.

One blanket has birds, one has adorable puppies and kittens, and one has the moon and stars. I think that all the designs are very cute, but I think I'm nuts over the the puppy/kitten one! Maybe it is because we have a dog and a cat that we love very much!

These blankets are soft, white, and a nice, large 47"x47" size, so they are big enough to properly swaddle your baby if you wish to do so. The blankets will keep the baby cool and comfortable, unlike synthetic fabrics which can cause the baby to sweat and risk overheating.



I think my favorite thing, so far was just taking pictures of my little girl wrapped up sweetly in the puppy/kitten one. I love that the blanket is gentle on her skin, lightweight, and it is so large that I can wrap it safely around her and tuck it behind her back so she cannot get out of it, while still leaving it loose in the legs so she can move.

You may ask why it is important to purchase organic cotton products if you aren't eating them. Many of the pesticides and chemicals that are polluting our air and drinking water are coming from growing crops like cotton. Making a point to purchase and support products that do not use these pesticides to create them helps keep our planet and families clean and healthy.

The Tiny Cloud Swaddle Blankets are just perfect for wrapping and holding our baby, but also work great as stroller blankets, nursing covers, tummy time blankets, or however you want to use them.
