Ooh La La - Francois et Mimi French Coffee Press Review

I have to admit, I'd never thought about using a coffee press before I received this one from Francois and Mimi to review. I love coffee. I also need coffee, especially with a preschooler and a newborn at home. Our lack of sleep is counteracted by a lifesaving cup of coffee, daily. If people are saying that a French press is a better way to enjoy coffee, then I'm in.

The French press works by putting the coffee and HOT water into the pot and pressing it after letting it brew for a little while.

The Francois et Mimi French Coffee Press is dishwasher safe, holds 1000ml, or 34oz, has a double wall feature which keeps liquids hot longer, and a dribble-proof spout.

The water must be HOT to go into the coffee press. Then you add 1 Tbsp for every 8 oz. of water and every small cup of coffee you want to make.

Then you put the lid on the press with the press pulled all the way up.

Once you let your coffee brew for 5 minutes or so you push down the press all the way.

Then you pour your delicious cup of coffee!

I must say that the cup of coffee was pretty delicious!

The press is well-made and very attractive. All the parts were in great condition and worked perfectly. I could see using our coffee press for making our coffee and keeping it warm as we enjoyed it little by little, either just me and hubby, or for guests.

Here is a video of the coffee press in action:
