I thought it would be fun to throw some water on my bed and see what happened...

I think what I worried about most was that it would shrink in the dryer which it did not. In fact, it came out of the dryer in great condition.
The mattress protector is very easy to put on. I have a standard thickness foam mattress and there was more than enough depth of the mattress protector fabric to go all the way under my mattress and the elastic holds it in place. It fit my mattress perfectly.
We did a little test to see what would happen if we spilled water on the mattress protector and it just rolled to the dip in the bed.
Not one drop of the water absorbed into the mattress protector and just floated on the top. I'm confident that next time we have a bedwetting accident with the little guy, we will be fully protected. If for any reason the HomeStyles UltraPlush Waterproof Mattress Protector doesn't work, it has a 10 year product replacement warranty.
Make sure you have one of these on your mattress if you have kids, pets, or like to throw wild parties. They work great, fit well, look nice, and are an excellent value.

ReplyDeleteThis waterproof mattress pad is something I could buy for my sister, for my next nephew, as they tend to end up sleeping in my sister's bed...and her husband ends up on the couch! lol But, the mattress pad would be great for bed wetting purposes.
