I happened upon this salad dressing recipe by accident. I was trying to make a peanut sauce for my family, specifically for my kids and after hunting around for a recipe without a ton of ingredients and things we just did not have on hand, I found something very simple. My first attempts were just way too spicy for kids, but became a happy accident for me because I figured out how to make my new favorite spicy peanut salad dressing.
There are only 5 ingredients in this dressing and it is super easy to put together. One thing I like to do is actually make it in my peanut butter jar when there is only a little bit of peanut butter left to make it even easier.

You can play around with the recipe to make it more or less spicy or strengthen the flavors you like more or less. This is roughly the combo I like the best. I've actually gotten to the point where I just wing it, shake it up, and taste it to see if it needs anything else.
What you need:
2 Tbsp Peanut butter1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp hot sauce or more to taste
1 Tbsp rice vinegar or your favorite vinegar
2 Tbsp water
Makes 2 servings.
What you do:
Combine all ingredients in a jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake vigorously until well combined.
Refrigerate any unused portion.
If you are going to make a larger batch of the dressing you could put it in a blender.
