When I was in the wedding business, my favorite centerpieces to make were the ones that really captured the couple's style and interests. One of our brides was a doll collector and we designed flower arrangements individually to match each special doll. I know we have lot of couples where academia, reading, books are the common thread and it turns out they make excellent wedding decor! 1) His & Hers – Chances are, you don’t have the same taste in books as your spouse-to- be. If you’re into Shakespeare, and he loves Hemingway, consider using two books at the centerpiece of your table that reflect each of your interests, paired with a floral arrangement and candles.
