I got to review these adorable Fingerlings robotic toys a few months ago and my kids really liked them, so I think it's safe to say we like these toys. Apparently they are so popular that they flew off shelves. We were at Walmart a week or so ago and the Fingerlings racks were bare. Online they are out of stock.

It turns out that if you were lucky enough to get your hands on one at regular price you may want to sell it before the kids see it because now you can only find them on Ebay or Amazon where people are charging as much as $50 for Fingerlings Monkeys, Unicorns and other cute Wowee toys.
So are they WORTH that much?!
I think the question is whether you would pay that much.
They are very small toys. They are interactive, portable, they have little blinking eyes and cute sleep noises. If you have a child that really wants one in a certain color or wants 2 because they interact with each other in the cutest ways including kissing noises, then maybe it is worth spending more than $35 per toy...
I have my fingers crossed that Walmart will restock before Christmas and we could pay the suggested retail price which is around $14.99.
Where to Find Fingerlings
As of the writing of this article, the Fingerlings were going for around $35 and up on Ebay.
Amazon had Fingerlings for $37 and up.
