YES! I put all of those things in our smoothies, this morning! I was looking for something fun to add to our smoothies and came across the Cocao on Amazon.
This isn't cocoa or powdered chocolate. This is the raw powder that is a SUPERFOOD containing Iron, fiber, magnesium... I always need to have 5 items on my Subscribe and Save list, too, so I get my 20% off with Amazon Mom and Prime. It helps me to try new things!
Anyway, the smoothie was DELISH! It was a total chocolate milkshake treat.
I don't have it all measured out for you. I made 2 smoothies. One for me and one for my 2 year old. All measurements are going to be rough estimates and you can play around with it yourself depending on personal taste and quantity of smoothies that need to be drank.
Here's what I used:
1 banana
1 giant spoonful of cocunut yogurt
1 large spoonful of peanut butter
a Tablespoon or 2 of Cocao
a handful of almonds
a cup of soymilk
a little bit of water
a scoop of ice
I mixed all the ingredients in my Vitamix. Once the almonds were pulverized and everything was smooth, I added the scoop of ice. This gave it much more of a milkshake texture.
It was so freakin' good! I am definitely going to put this one on the rotation in my house.
