I got the chance to do a paint night/paint and wine kinda night with the mommies from my playgroup, the other day. I got to attend one of those events at a restaurant a few months ago, so I knew how it could work. I did my best to come up with a design that would be easy-ish, then I brought all of the supplies and set up!
I can update with exactly what materials I used, later if anyone is interested. It made me really happy to see all the materials and supplies all together. I was a little nervous to teach, but I feel like I've taught enough things before. I was pretty happy that it was only a few of us, so we were able to gather at one table instead of me at an easel in the middle of two tables...
This was my original design. It took me a few hours to come up with the concept. I thought it was okay. I was much happier with the painting that I worked on with the girls (at the top) and the paintings they did!
