Giveaway and Review - Frozen: The Songs Album

Hooray! The NEW Frozen: The Songs album is coming out and we got to review it!

So I may just be the mom of a 2 - almost 3 year old little race car revving, dump truck driving, dinosaur roaring little boy, but that doesn't mean we haven't seen the Frozen movie half a dozen times and he can't sing along to "Let it Go" when it comes on the radio. We were just as excited as all the little "Annas" and "Elsas" out there when we were given the opportunity to review the Frozen: The Songs CD a week prior to its release date on September 30, 2104.

The wildly popular "Frozen" movie won two Academy Awards® - one for best animated film and “Let It Go” won best original song. Plus Frozen is the fifth highest grossing film of all time. The Frozen Soundtrack is the top selling album of 2014. It is no surprise that any kid, or fan of any age could get a thrill from popping a Frozen: The Songs album into their CD player and hearing the first familiar notes of "Frozen Heart."

First words out of our little bug's mouth when he saw the CD was "I want to listen to 'Elsa doesn't want to build a snowman.'" Luckily for him, "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" is song #2 on the track list!

Here's what is on this album...

The Frozen: The Songs album has all our favorite hits, especially both versions of "Let it Go" and the one I'm trying to get Hubby to sing with me, "Love is an Open Door." We had a great time listening to the entire soundtrack. My little guy spun himself dizzy during a couple songs, and just listened intently to others. 

I'm not gonna lie, I got a little dancin' and singin' in during our mini-listening party, too. This is a great album to put in the car with your little "Frozen" fans! This could make for a lot less "are we there yet" and a lot more sing-a-longs where Mommy can practice hitting the high notes, with the windows rolled up tightly, of course.

Right now, you can pre-order Frozen: The Songs on Amazon. You can also pre-order or be on the lookout for Frozen Canciones de una Aventura Congelada and the Frozen Score digital album. All will be available on September 30,2014.
