HALO SwaddleSure Review and Giveaway

With our first baby, I feel like I was very lucky to have purchased a HALO® SleepSack® for Newborns mainly because I had a coupon. I really had no idea what I needed, but I was trying to make sure we had all the bells and whistles for the new baby, just in case. We learned very quickly how great the SleepSack worked to keep the little guy warm, safe, and snug at night especially because he was breaking out of blanket swaddles and loose blankets, of course, are unsafe.

For baby number two, we were really excited to receive the new HALO® Swaddlesure in exchange for our honest review. Our little girl is just two weeks old and we have enjoyed more than a few nights, of decent sleep, thanks in part to the SwaddleSure!

I know a lot of people say the second child is easier than the first. It is hard to say if this is because us parents are more experienced, less stressed, if biology is coming into play, or if the parents have all the right gear and accessories this time around. 

For our baby girl, I pretty much avoided attempting any blanket swaddling and hit the easy button right away with the HALO® Swaddlesure. It is so simple to get the baby safely swaddled with a few simple steps and you can get a truly customized, safe, and correct fit that works perfectly for your baby. 

I'm happy that the SwaddleSure is made of 100% cotton, because I always prefer a natural fiber on my children for good breathability, non-irritating to their skin, and softness. I also love the foolproof patented three-point fastening system that makes it impossible for our baby to break out of the pouch.

It is perfect how her arms are kept snug to her body, while her legs can still move freely, allowing for proper hip development. We also love that the design allows for easy diaper changes by opening up the bottom part only.

*Very Important - Make sure you stop using swaddling when the baby is showing signs that she will roll over or break out of the swaddle wrap. Also, message of "back is best" serves as a reminder to place the baby on safely on her back to sleep.
