8 Easy Vegan Lunch or Brunch Recipes & BFree Gluten Free Breads Review

This week we sampled the line of BFree wheat-free and gluten breads. Their products are free from all major allergens; wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, and soy and they're non GMO and vegan. The rolls, breads, and wraps are made with ingredients such as teff, potato flour, pea protein, and there is no added sugar. Check out how much fun we have when a box full of bread shows up at the house and find out where you can order gluten free breads online from BFree.

*BFree provided the bread products in this review however all thoughts and opinions are our own.

As a vegan who hasn't had much experience with gluten-free bread I was intrigued by the BFree breads. Some of the gf breads I've tried in the past I've found to be quite crumbly and dry. These breads all held together quite well. The breads were sliced a little thinner than you would normally find in a loaf which I actually find to be a good thing. The slices were soft and springy and toasted up nicely.

The wraps were all very tasty. As recommended I heated them up on the stove top for a couple minutes before using and to my surprise the were able to wrap up without crumbling under the weight of my overstuffed filling.

Since I happened to have a vegan hot dog in the fridge and a fresh jar of organic sauerkraut I got to try the seeded hot dog bun and was very impressed with the texture and flavor of the lightly toasted bun with some of my favorite toppings.

The ciabatta rolls were fantastic. My husband put together a beautiful vegan deli sandwich complete with melted vegan provolone and avocado. I didn't even think about the fact that these great little rolls were gluten free while consuming them.

I think the best thing is that the calorie count on the BFree breads is much lower than similar serving sizes of bread and they also pack in a lot of nutrition while maintaining a soft texture and plability. These breads worked great with all the different combos we like to put together without killing us with the carbs.

The BFree breads are great if you have allergies to nuts, diary, wheat, soy, or eggs. They are good if you are trying to cut back on calories. They are fantastic if you are hosting a gathering and want to make sure your gluten-free friends are covered and you can order gluten free breads online straight from the source.

You can also put the wraps or breads in the freezer until you are ready to use them so you have the ingredients you want to make all these wonderful meals on hand as needed.
