If you are looking to get crafty as well as do something fun and inclusive for Halloween I suggest participating in the Teal Pumpkin Project. A teal pumpkin is a symbol to kids with allergies that you will have a non-candy treat. Often kids with food allergies are not able to participate in Trick or Treating but we can change that. Gather your friends with food allergies or not and paint some cute little teal pumpkins.

You can get $1 Foam Pumpkins from Dollar Tree.
These are 5 inch pumpkins and perfect for a small space.
You don't need to decorate your pumpkins but you can if you like. We did this project with little kids so we had fun decorating.
Googly eyes also from Dollar Tree.
Then you just paint with Teal Paint...
... and decorating optional!
You can buy the non-candy treats at Dollar Tree like these Halloween Pencils.
These pencils make great loot!
And YES! Everything is a DOLLAR!!!
Check out their decor too...
