Petcurean Gather Vegan Dog Food Review

We were so excited when we were asked to test out a new vegan dog food from Petcurean a few weeks ago. As you may know, plant based diets are highly digestible and can be very good for dogs as well as it is for humans and also the environment. I had been wanting to put Lulu on a vegan diet a while back after I went vegan myself but the vet, at the time, said she should stay on a prescription diet which she was not really happy about. Things have changed since then, health-wise, and now they are suggesting a plant based diet is the way to go for her. I couldn't be happier. It was a great time to be asked test out Endless Valley, the vegan option from Petcurean's line of GATHER™ foods.

Lulu's bestie, Scruff, who is technically her uncle but more like her brother, has been on a vegan diet for some time and is very healthy and happy about it. Scruff and Lulu got to test out the new Gather Endless Valley vegan dog food together this past weekend when Lulu and the kids got to stay at their grandparents house. They must have liked the smell so much, they both tried to eat right out of the bag!

Lulu has been eating the Gather kibble for a little over a week and we feel comfortable ordering more for her. She seems to like it in a small bowl, separately from her wet food where she can crunch away when she feels the urge. She also gets Grandma's homemade dog biscuits for snacks and her vet is happy with this food as a good option for a healthy diet.

Scruff, who has been on another vegan dog food for quite some time welcomed the new food as well.  He liked it so much, my mom ordered some for him. It is great to see that there is a new vegan option with organic ingredients on the market. Otherwise it can get a little boring for the vegan dogs.

Scruff has a tough time looking excited about anything, but he looked pretty excited about this food!

What we think about Gather Endless Valley vegan dog food

We like that the Gather Endless Valley has organic ingredients. It is made from certified organic pea protein and other natural ingredients. The food provides all the essential amino acids and ingredients for complete and balanced nutrition.

We really like that the company guarantees that Endless Valley does not contain any animal products and was not tested on animals.

We also like that Gather uses a USDA certified bio-based packaging to help minimize the environmental impact of the product.

Would we buy it? We just did!

We are very much looking forward to Lulu thriving on a vegan diet just like Scruff is.  We will be continuing to give her Endless Valley to supplement homemade and canned foods and Scruff just received his own shipment today.
